Beachmaster Checks

Inland Checklist

  1. Paddle or Oars: secured in boat. (“Praddles” will be accepted for boats excused bailers)
  2. Bailer: min. 1 gallon - secured (except Byte, Comet, Laser, Topper and Dinghies with self-draining cockpits)
  3. Head Rope: 4m x 8mm
  4. Buoyancy: adequate, bags properly secured
  5. Rigging: secure and standing rigging taped
  6. Personal Buoyancy: 100N - BMIF, SBBNF, CE. 50N if swimmer & staff satisfied or Lifejacket 150N or BS 3595. Serviceable condition & clearly visible
